Ann Godi, CMP
President

Ann Godi, CMP is President of Benchmarc360°, Inc. a strategic event management company based in Atlanta. Ann founded Benchmarc360° in 1991, and is responsible for the strategic vision and global scope of the company.

Under her direction, the company has become a leader in managing events, meetings, conferences, incentives and trade shows for Fortune 500 companies as well as national associations. Two additional B360 business units of note are Guidelines-Atlanta and Guidelines-Chattanooga, both are destination management companies.

Ann has been appointed to the International Board of Directors for Meeting Professionals International as Chair Elect effective July 1, 2008. She will become the Chair one year later. This follows serving a three year term on the IBOD as well as currently serving on the Executive Committee as Vice Chair of Finance.

She previously completed four years on the board (including two years on the executive committee) of the Georgia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (GaMPI).

She completed a two year term as Chapter Leadership Council Rep for PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) December 31, 2007.

Previously she served on the board and executive committee of Hospitality Helping Hands. In addition, she is a member of MIC (Meetings Industry Council) and is also a regular industry speaker, writer and teacher. She has addressed the International Meetings & Incentives Conferences in Bangkok, Marrakech and Athens as well as many local, regional and national industry audiences.

A Certified Meeting Professional, Ann teaches and serves on the advisory board of the Conference & Meeting Management Certificate Program at the University of Georgia. She is also a member of the advisory board for the Gwinnett Technical College Hospitality Program as well.

Ann co-authored Pro2Pro, a regular feature of GSAE Today for several years, the newsletter for Georgia Society of Association Executives, and has written for several industry publications including Convention South, as well as having been interviewed many times by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Corporate Meetings & Incentives, and others.

In addition, she is committed to outreach and community service.
